The 2023 Southern Green Hydrogen Southland Business Excellence Awards were a night to remember for Macaulay Ford. We were absolutely thrilled to be named finalists in not one, not two, but three categories, a true testament to our team's unwavering commitment to implementing new processes and initiatives over the past couple of years.

With a record-breaking 137 entries across 13 business award categories, the competition was fierce. Here's where we made our mark:

1. Health & Safety: Recognizing our leadership and commitment to innovation in creating a safer workplace for all.
2. Wellbeing: Acknowledging our commitment to integrating wellbeing into our workplace culture.
3. Employer of the Year: Highlighting our dedication to providing a supportive and inspiring work environment, with a focus on employee welfare.

The awards event was held at Transport World last month, where over 600 local businesses gathered with hopes of clinching one of the 13 prestigious awards. 

The highlight of the evening? We struck gold, winning the Blue River Workplace Wellbeing Award. An award that is particularly special as it recognizes our ongoing efforts to embed a culture of wellness in our organization over the past 18 months.
