Description
2005 Holden Monaro CV8-Z was the final iteration of the third-generation (V2/VZ) Holden Monaro produced in Australia, quoting it as the " Last Hurrah". It was effectively a run-out special edition released in mid 2005 to commemorate the end of the Monaro's production (at least for that era).
It features the well-known 5.7 litre Generation III LS1 V8 engine that can produced 260kW (348 hp) of power and 500Nm of torque. Its 4-speed auto heavy duty transmission provides a smooth and easy driving.
Holden added several unique features to distinguish the CV8-Z with the likes of:
- Electric Sunroof that is a standard on the CV8-Z, previously an option.
- Unique Wheels sported specific 18-inch alloys with slightly different pattern/finish compared to VZ CV8.
- Blacked-out Headlight Bezels: Gave the front end a slightly more aggressive look.
- Special Badging: CV8-Z specificbadging.
- Exclusive Colour: A new hero colour called "Fusion" (a vibrant orange/gold metallic) was introduced with the CV8-Z.
