1 in 3 New Zealanders will receive a cancer diagnosis in their lifetime. It could be you, or someone you love.

That's why this August, for every new Ford sold, Macaulay Ford will donate $200 to the Cancer Society.*

But we're not stopping there. Throughout Daffodil Month, we're raising awareness and bringing the community together with the Daffodil Ranger, competitions, school visits and the Daffodil Rally for Cancer.

The Daffodil Ranger

Keep an eye out for our Daffodil Ranger as it travels around Southland throughout August.

During the first week of the month, the Ranger will visit schools across Southland for our Inter-school competition, The Big Ranger Squeeze, before making its way to Invercargill Central for the remainder of August.

While it's at Invercargill Central, stop by to support the Cancer Society and enter our giveaways, with a $500 Invercargill Central gift card and a family getaway to Te Anau up for grabs.

Daffodil Rally for Cancer

Sunday 23 August is the Vintage Car Club's National Day. Across New Zealand, hundreds of vehicles will be on the road and on display, raising money for their local Cancer Society. We're proud to support events in both Central Otago and Invercargill.

Central Otago:

Join the Central Otago Vintage Car Club for a Show and Shine at the Vintage Car Club Grounds, Litany Street, Cromwell.

Gates open at 10.00am, with the Show and Shine running from 11.00am to 2.00pm. Bring along any vehicle to display, whether it's vintage, classic or modern. Alpine Street Machines will be running the BBQ, and there'll also be a coffee cart on site.

Vehicle entry is $20, spectators are $5, and children are free.

Invercargill:

Join us at Macaulay Ford, 270 Dee Street, for our Show and Shine from 10.00am to 2.00pm, followed by a car run departing at 1.30pm.

There'll be a sausage sizzle, giveaways and plenty happening throughout the day.

Whether you'd like to enter your own vehicle or simply come along to enjoy the display, everyone is invited. All vehicles are welcome.

Vehicle entry is $20, with proceeds supporting the Cancer Society.

$200 Donation Terms and Conditions: Offer available across the new Ford range. For every vehicle purchased at Macaulay Ford between 1 - 31 August 2026, $200 will be donated to the Cancer Society. Vehicle must be registered within the promotional period. Offer excludes fleet purchases and demonstrator vehicles

Te Anau Prize Terms and Conditions: Entries open from 1 August 2026 and close at 11.59pm on 31 August 2026. Open to New Zealand residents. Employees of Macaulay Motors, their immediate families, and associated suppliers are not eligible to enter.To enter, participants must scan the QR code and make a donation to the Cancer Society via the Macaulay Motors’ Team donation page. Multiple entries are permitted.

The prize is a family weekend getaway to Te Anau and includes:

• Two nights’ accommodation for a family of four at Fiordland Lakeview Motel.
• Dinner at The Ranch Bar and Grill for two adults and two children, including mains only. Drinks and any additional items are not included.
• Use of a Ford Ranger supplied by Macaulay Ford for four days, including vehicle collection, the two-night stay, and vehicle return.

The prize is for a family of four, made up of two adults and two children. The Ford Ranger must be driven by a person holding a valid New Zealand driver’s licence. If the winner is under 18 years of age, the prize may be claimed by their parent or legal guardian.

The Ford Ranger supplied will be subject to availability and will be covered under Macaulay Ford’s insurance requirements. The vehicle will be supplied with a full tank of fuel. Any additional fuel required during the trip will be the winner’s responsibility. The getaway must be booked and completed within six months of the winner being contacted and is subject to availability. Dates will be arranged directly with the winner. Prize is not redeemable for cash and is not transferable, except where the winner is under 18 years of age and the prize is claimed by their parent or legal guardian. The winner will be drawn on 2 September 2026 and contacted shortly after. If the winner cannot be contacted or is unable to claim the prize, a redraw may be held. By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to their name and photograph being used for promotional purposes by Macaulay Motors. Macaulay Motors reserves the right to verify entries and disqualify any entries that do not meet these terms and conditions or are deemed invalid.

Selfie Poster Terms and Conditions: Entries open from 1 August 2026 and close at 11.59pm on 31 August 2026. Employees of Macaulay Motors, Invercargill Central, their immediate families, and associated suppliers are not eligible to enter.To enter, participants must take a selfie with the Macaulay Ford Daffodil Ranger at Invercargill Central and post their photo publicly on either Facebook or Instagram during the competition period. The post must tag both Macaulay Motors and Invercargill Central to be eligible. One entry per person is permitted. The prize is a $500 Invercargill Central Gift Card. The winner will be drawn on 2 September 2026 and contacted shortly after. If the winner cannot be contacted or is unable to claim the prize, a redraw may be held.

By entering, participants give Macaulay Motors and Invercargill Central permission to share their submitted photo and use their name and image for promotional purposes relating to the competition and Daffodil Month campaign. The prize is not redeemable for cash and is not transferable.
